Or has the shoutbox disappeared?

No, a thief broke in and took the shoutbox away. I'll talk to the insurance man and see if I can get a new one.

Another possibility is that Sean added a new feature to the Admin CP, and that global moderators briefly didn't have permission to view it. This should be rectified now.

The shoutbox has started to behave really glitch-il-y for me ever since the images appeared. Sometimes it becomes invisible.

Odd. Again, Sean's been working on the forum software this weekend, but if this keeps happening, post a screenshot and I'll enter a ticket on JaxSupport.

Now parts of the forum are covering up different parts. I think this, and what I said earlier started a few days ago.

I see what you're talking about now, and that's kind of strange. I'll ask Sean about that. Does this problem happen all the time? Does it occur when you open the Bibby Team Forums in IE?

All I can say is to try a good F5, and see if that helps.

That is the strangest display bug I've ever seen in my life, I wouldn't even begin to know how to make your browser do that if I WANTED to.

I'm leaning towards it's probably something weird, like some add-on messing the page up, or just you having an outdated version of some of the script files (f5 will fix).

If you could post your FF version, that would be really helpful

Actually, clicking into another tab and then clicking back to this site fixes it, but it's annoying to do every time. I wasn't having this problem until quite recently.

Firefox 4.0.1, Windows 7 Ultimate.

In case you're wondering, my file menu is weird because I turned off some of the menus (and my computer has the Windows 95 - 2000 classic theme, and as you saw, my Firefox is themed to have the top stuff back. I know none of this probably caused it but it's just in case you're wondering why my screen looks so odd.)

Does that help? I never realized how many addons and tweaks I used. If something I have installed is doing this, I'll remove it. And don't worry about the Adblock plus, I have it disabled on this site, as you can see from the green icon in my previous screencap.

Alright, based on all of the information you've told me (thanks for all of that, by the way!), I've figured out the problem.

There's currently a bug with the latest AdBlock Plus that causes pages to incorrectly redraw if you have AdBlock DISABLED on a page in Firefox 4.01. I know this because I tried it myself (I too love AdBlock). I was able to reproduce these issues by simply disabling AdBlock on any jaxboard (and a few other sites I tested on).

While I'm grateful that you thought to disable adblock on Jaxboards, I would say just go ahead and enable it until they fix the issues with having it disabled on certain pages. It's either that, or disable AdBlock altogether, and I'm not going to recommend that!

I'd rather lose a few pennies than have you unable to use the forums, or have to deal with the obnoxious ads on other sites.

Thanks for your support!

Okay, thanks a lot! I'll go ahead and re-enable it for the time being, but as soon as it's fixed, I'd like to know. I keep it disabled for a reason on most of the sites I go to. I really only have it to block things that pop up and move, like on The Spriters Resource or on a certain torrent site. And since Adblock doesn't seem to have a blacklist feature... yeah. Anyway, thanks again. The problem's gone now that I have it enabled here.

Maybe it'd be a good idea to notify Adblock and/or whoever manages the Jaxboards software.
