Build Infinity is a building/crafting/mining game, inspired by Minecraft (and lately, Terraria, but when I started the project I didn't even know Terraria existed), but it's completely indie. Here's a screeny:

*Note that the SMB3 Mario sprite is a huge placeholder sprite, I'll make a custom player sprite later.

Here are the main features:

How to make a skin:
To make a skin, go to the main folder, then open the folder Skins, and then open the folder Slot 1. You'll find 3 images: spr_player_stand_1.png, spr_player_walk_1.png, spr_player_jump_1.png. You can edit them, and they will be used in the game automatically! Note that the name needs to keep the same, as well as the size (in pixels).

How to make tile packs:
It's kinda the same as how to make a skin: go to the main folder, then open the folder Tile Packs, then open the folder Slot 1. You will find some images, which you can edit, and they will automatically used in the game. Note that the name needs to keep the same, as well as the size (in pixels).

you know, whenever i see the title for this i always assume that it's on the same engine that powered duke nukem 3D. you know, the build engine? haha

anyway, this looks really cool. when you release this, will it be freeware or will you charge for it?

So what can be superior when compared with paying out half the price for brand name children?

wow, if brand name children are on sale, maybe i can stop buying all these cheap knockoff children

OK... even I'll admit that the Oakland Raiders' performance might be a valid reason to use the interesting words.

TBH, I have no idea what you're talking about :P . Is that a 3D sandbox engine?

Thanks! I think it will be free, not sure about it, it depends. If the final game is good enough to be sold, I might consider selling it, but I think it will be free.

neat! if you decide to sell it, i want first dibs on a copy.

the build engine is just a 3D game engine that was used in several first person shooters in the 90s. here's a video of duke nukem 3D, one of its best-known games, so you can see it:

I don't know much about informal English, the only English I really know is things I learnt at school, which is formal English only. What does 'dibs' mean?

saying you've got "dibs" on something is saying "i call this one before anyone else can get to it"

let's say you and i... i don't know, buy a stack of games from a used game store. we look through it, and i see one i've been looking for for a long time. if i were to say "i've got dibs on this one", that means i'm claiming that one before you can get it

Ah, I see then, thanks for explaining.
Also, sure, I'll let you know when the final thing is done (which will probably take a long while though).
