I decided to process an MIDI through an emulated Sound blaster card in a windows 98 VM.

This is the MIDI i chose to show what this old Sound chip can do,

I thought this sounded kinda cool, and rather accurate to what that old windows 98 system i used to have sounded like.
after figuring out how to actually record from the Old MIDI out (which on Windows98 was an entirely different sound channel) i thought i should post it here.

Neat. I've always found it interesting that a lot of 90's soundcards - and even the earlier Super NES games - have more natural-sounding instruments than the MIDI drivers on Windows XP.
Course clear! You got a card.

Friendly Dictator So what can be superior when compared with paying out half the price for brand name children? wow, if brand name children are on sale, maybe i can stop buying all these cheap knockoff children Bibby OK... even I'll admit that the Oakland Raiders' performance might be a valid reason to use the interesting words. |

http://bisqwit.iki.fi/source/adlmidi.html (source) http://bisqwit.iki.fi/src/adlmidi-111-win32.zip (Compiled to win32) this emulates the OPL3 Synthesizer chip. A bit glitchy, Maximizing the command window reduces glitches. |
