What is your favorite video game?

earthbound, on the snes. i lost count of how many times i've played it, but if i had to guess, i'd say like 25

that'd be yukari tamura. she's a voice actor; i don't know much about japanese voice acting, but i recognize her from her role as rozalin in disgaea 2. she looks d*** good for a woman in her upper thirties.

the woman in my avatar on mfgg is pattie boyd, erstwhile wife of george harrison and later eric clapton. the song layla was written about her.

the paper i'm writing is about edmund burke and his reactions to the american and french revolutions. he was sympathetic to the americans since they were englishmen, but not to the french because they were propagating enlightenment ideals (natural rights, reason over religion, etc.) it didn't help that the french revolutionaries were egregiously violent, either.

now, i have a question for you: who's that guy in your avatar? he looks like a cross between a weatherman and a seventies rockstar.

Yes, she's held up quite nicely! I would've estimated her age at 25 or so. And yeah, Edmund Burke was an interesting fellow - both liberals and conservatives tend to regard him as one of the best and most sensible leaders of his era.

The gentleman in my avatar is Shad Khan, the Pakistani-American owner of the (American) football team in my city. People like his 'stache.

I play a lot of platformers, especially in the 2-D side-scrolling style, as well as sports titles and RPGs every now and then.

supernova: at the end of my high school years, i was set on going to college. however, i always have had enormous respect for the military; i'd have gone into the armed forces myself if it didn't involve getting shot at.

that said, i have a question for you, supernova: how long have you been in the armed forces?
