Whats your stance on ROM-hacks?
If you want to see a movie of Richard Figures (And I sure as hell want to see it.) Back This Project Up! -> https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/Richardfigures/Richard-figures-the-movie

the legal gray zones involved with emulation make me uneasy, so i don't play many rom hacks. that said, i've played a lot of earthbound hacks, and some pretty good ones at that.

aren't you working on a rom hack, strikeforcer?

So what can be superior when compared with paying out half the price for brand name children?

wow, if brand name children are on sale, maybe i can stop buying all these cheap knockoff children

OK... even I'll admit that the Oakland Raiders' performance might be a valid reason to use the interesting words.

Yes. Currently, im working on my SMB3 hack called SMB3 Returns which I posted on MFGG as sspp03, and made a few videos of certain experimention of the SMB3 engine. Lets say that those ideas wouldn't work out for me very well.

I have also made a few more SMB3 hacks, most of them on hiatus. I already finished making my SMB hack, I await someone to make me some 8-bit graphics before I release it to RHDN, acmlm, and MFGG.

Now then, what specific ROM-hacks do you like?

two of my favorite earthbound rom hacks are jonbound and the mysterious mine. jonbound came out in 2001, at a point where earthbound's hacking scene was still in its nascent stages, so it's little more than a cosmetic reskin. the mysterious mine, on the other hand, is later and much more advanced in terms of design. it also makes a lot of references to things i grew up with, like inspector gadget, so that's a plus.

i played a hack of super mario bros. that turned it into a metroidvania. it was called extra mario bros., or something like that. that's the only mario hack i can remember off top my head

simple; i was eleven and i was obsessed with fireworks, so it sounded cool. since supertoad2k was a member of the mfgg boards in 2001, i thought it'd be cool to ape part of his name.

i remember that he said something along the lines of "3000? you're making me seem obsolete." when i posted my "i'm new" topic

Who is the current lovely lady in your avatar?

FB3K usually has cute ladies in his avatar, but when he posted in the Admin Power Abuse Topic, I changed his avatar to a photo of Angela Corey, a local politician. She is influential, outspoken, and probably at least a little bit corrupt - and even her supporters would agree that she isn't exactly the pinnacle of beauty. I changed his avatar back to normal before backing up the forums, lest my next spambot-killing spree cause something to go wrong and I have to restore anything.

Can you play a musical instrument? (Or, perhaps to be more accurate, what instruments do you play?)
Course clear! You got a card.

...this is totally a necrobump from a topic that's almost a year old, but there's an unanswered question here, so i may as well answer it. can't resist an opportunity to feed my ego and all that.

i've played drums since i was 17. i don't practice much because i no longer have a working rock band kit and my real kit is way too loud to be able to play on a regular basis. i picked up bass last christmas, so i suck at that too.
