It's kind of rare that I visit fast-food eateries, but when I do, I never miss a chance to channel my inner bartender and blend at least two beverages together (frequently Coke/Pepsi and Mr. Pibb/Dr Pepper, but other combinations have been attempted, with "mixed" results). Am I the only person who does this? Is this a sign of creativity and originality, or is it an expression of a subconscious desire to scoop up booze all night for minimum wage?

I do this all the time, though I never really have a set 'common' thing I mix together.

I can never find Mr. Pibb outside of old-timey looking places.
Can't say I've ever mixed drinks before, so I can't claim any "mixed" results. I've had the idea to do it before but never actually did it. Perhaps next time I'm at a Burger King or something I'll try this mixing stuff. --- Edited by: Miles, Mar 25th, 2013 @ 4:59 pm |

My brother put vinegar in his root beer once. Another time he mixed root beer with orange crush. Laughs were had.
Never underestimate that I have punches!

Cream soda is a good mixer for a lot of things,
orange, raspberry, strawberry, root beer, cola, ect. lemon lime soda also works for making jello, lemon-lime soda and cranberry juice is good while you are sick with the flu. Whiskey is good mixed with lemon-lime soda, as long as you dont overdo it. |

strawberry kiwi and cherry kool-aid is probably one of the best flavor mixes i've ever done. try it.
in terms of soda, i think my favorite mix is 3/4 of a glass of diet pepsi, and 1/4 of a glass of diet dr. pepper. i rarely drink not-diet, but i assume it'll work just as well with normal soda the only alcoholic drink mix i ever did was a full glass of sierra mist with just enough black cherry whiskey to taste. i called it a sierra mountain bomber, and it was really good --- Edited by: fireball3k, Mar 26th, 2013 @ 9:14 pm

I mixed orange juice, lemon juice and grape soda together one time.
Not as bad as you'd think.
