Saw it was on CNN earlier today, interested how this will turn it out.

The odds are against her, considering that most teams only carry one placekicker on their rosters, and it's hard to make your way into the league unless you were a star at the college level. On the other hand, it's not unheard of for kickers to come from unconventional backgrounds (like Australian rules football), and it's nice to see her getting an opportunity to compete. It'll be interesting to see how this turns out.
