Jaxboards is now on version 3.0! Since Jaxboards 2.0 came out last year, Sean has re-engineered just about every piece of the Jaxboards software, simplifying the codebase and ensuring it meets modern best practices. Most recently, Sean has replaced the slightly janky HTML template system with a more modern and much more streamlined system based on Twig.

Sean helped update our skin files so they'll work properly with the new Twig architecture.

For those interested in how Jaxboards versioning works:

1.x = Original Jaxboards
2.x = Jaxboards in 2025, now working in PHP 8
3.x = Jaxboards in 2026 after Sean has re-engineered everything

Also, I've now applied the responsive design updates to every skin! This means every skin should deliver a good experience for both desktop and mobile users. I can't guarantee that every skin will work perfectly on every screen size, but we're getting very close. Previously, skins like Gridiron and Poutine would be really finicky for mobile devices.

I've made a few tweaks to our mainsite as well.
