Don't have to be in a strictly forum format, but that's the type of community I'm interested in here- no facebooks or whatever lol.

What other communities are you a part of and/or recommend?

and some reasoning would be cool too, but I don't want any outside disputes or whatever- I suppose its ok if you have a general comment about a community but nothing about specific users or anything too flamey please.

• This forum, because I run it it's pretty clean and sane, as online forums go.
  
• MFGG, because I still like making games, and it's a great place to make and play games.
  
• Twitter, so I can post random things that no one reads and I can read bad retweets from nominal friends.
  
• GameFAQs Contributors Board, which remains useful even though it's almost dead and I don't write a lot of guides nowadays. Can't say I care for most of the other boards on GameFAQs, though.
  
• JaxSupport, because JaxBoards is something I try to support whenever I can.
  
• An academic-related board that none of you would care anything about.
  
• DeviantArt, because occasionally you'll find decent art on dA, and since lots of MFGGers are members there.
  
• MW, which I'm listing because I used to be active there, even though I steer clear of it today.

There's a bunch of other sites where I have accounts and might check on rare occasions, but those are the only places where I visit (or used to visit) with any regularity.

in all honesty,
I never go to any other forums except here and MFGG.

I sometimes look at the adult swim forums, though i never post anything.
