Right now it's just an opening cutscene and an incomplete level involving mildly overweight felines, but here's a preview of what you'll see if this ever gets to be a full-length game. I still need to decide who the starring character will be, too.

I never did play the first 2,
almost reminds me of Waligie somehow. |

Yes, Cheerwine Deluxe is heavily inspired by the Waligie series, as well as the Quackers games.
The new version, downloadable in the original post, adds a very incomplete (and disgustingly cute, in spite of the clashing) platform engine that will appear in one or more levels. Also, press Page Up to find a very pointless minigame I whipped up in a short time.

This is full of greatness. And that minigame is hilarious, especially when the folks that mocked you for dying in the first Cheerwine Deluxe give their opinions of your shooting.

Thanks! So you found the CD1 laugh track in the free throws minigame! Thankfully, you won't hear this sound every time you lose a life in regular levels - although it will appear at certain times, like if you shoot a free throw badly enough.

Is that my Platform engine, or did you make one yourself?
The start of the game looks good, btw. That minigame indeed is addictive ![]()

It's a really early demo. I also hope to give Yoshi a few more Yoshi-y abilities, like a working tongue.
