There's a new version downloadable in the original post. Press Page Up to skip through the (incomplete) levels. I apologize for the gratuitous 15-MB demo, although it's necessary to achieve the full effect.

Yoshi's movements are based on a highly-modified version of the OniLink engine, similar to the one used in CD1.

I'm also amazed the first release got ten downloads. That's rather impressive for a demo released exclusively on this forum.

In this game, perhaps the best usage of a certain tileset ever.

I look forward to the end result.

Man I want to play this game so badlyyyyyy

I still really want to help out, though. I've got so many ideas. I really wanted this to be the finale, the last battle of the trilogy, and as such one of the biggest mindscrews MFGG has ever seen. We've really got to go all-out and use every trick in the book to make d*** sure that the players have no idea what the hell they're
playing. I just hope you don't finish the game before I get to do anything, because I really wanted to help out! :)

Do you think we should have a chat room to discuss ideas in the meantime?

Yeah, I'm trying to make a crazy game while also taking care to include quality gameplay. I think you might enjoy the engine test/demo, and I've made more progress in the past couple of days. I'm definitely happy to get some help on this, although I wouldn't be concerned about this getting finished any time too soon.

I see no point in setting up a chat room, though - this forum has a shoutbox, after all, and if you're concerned about spoilers, it only takes a few hours on an active day for shouts to scroll off the first page.

Might as well post a (slightly ugly) screenshot as evidence I'm still working on this. You'll get to change your user name, too, just like in the first Cheerwine Deluxe.

You can download the latest version in the original post. Most of the new content is broken, but there are some interesting engine tests, as well as the ever-useful name entry prompt seen in the first Cheerwine Deluxe. We shall see whether I can put the submarine transformation to good use!

Only faintly related: The girl you play as during the free throws minigame just won the local high school girls' basketball player of the year award.

I finally made some progress on CD3 a few days ago, fixing some glitches with the helicopter and submarine transformations. I have a week with no schoolwork to do, so maybe I can muster up enough motivation to make some headway on this project!
