"Last Train Home" by Pat Metheny. This song (and other songs from the same artist) used to be on The Weather Channel's Local Forecasts all the time, and it also appeared on some sappy Publix holiday commercials from circa 2000. I think my brother also used it to annoy me because it was on so much.

Yuka Tsujiyoko, the composer of many of the soundtracks from Fire Emblem and Paper Mario games, cites this artist as one of her influences, along with Hirokazu Tanaka.

Speaking of Fire Emblem, "Blowin' in the Wind" by Juliana Schano is a nice but oddball song on the Thracia 776 soundtrack. Thracia 776 holds a special place in my heart as the most difficult video game I have ever played. I finally found a decent-ish translation that seems to confirm that the song has nothing to do with the Bob Dylan song of the same name.

I like that cover of Yuffie's theme. Sounds very Yuffie-y!

Lately I've been listening to The Glaucoma Hymn, an amazing operatic piece about, well, glaucoma research.

I've also been continuing my addiction to questionable accounting songs with the old KPMG Song:

The KPMG Song
KPMG, we're strong as can be,
A team of power and energy,
We go for the gold,
Together we hold
Onto our vision of global strategy.

I found another dubious-quality song about someone's KPMG internship, and I can't quite tell whether or not it's actually supposed to be funny.

Last, but certainly not least, I've been listening to Little Gray Donkey, a bottom-tier Christmas song that seems to exist only for making preschoolers sing it at Christmas concerts. I couldn't find a decent-quality recording of it.

The Curler's Song, one of the relatively few songs about curling.

Summer in the City. I was in a restaurant and this song came on the radio while a TV was showing a hockey game from the Winter Olympics. This music was both extremely fitting and extremely unfitting.

I heard Judy in Disguise playing in a restaurant about a week ago. Fun classic bubblegum rock.

The (awesome) theme song from an old soccer management sim. I've never actually played the game myself, but I once spent a fair amount of time watching it.

The last thing I heard before getting my ass kicked in Marvel VS Capcom (arcade)

...If you know how the battle themes in that game work, you will see how embarassing that was, considering I was playing as Venom, and Strider Hiryu

Some Russian dance-pop music from the end of the Soviet era. You probably didn't listen to this today!
