I was bored, so I decided to load the Skulltag assets into brutal doom and start a deathmatch.

That looked pretty fun; didn't ever realize the range on the BFG was that limited, though.

Brutal Doom is pretty neat. I'd love to play some multiplayer Deathmatch with it some time - how did you set yours up to work? Seems like dragging the Brutal Doom PK3 onto the Skulltag exe in its own directory doesn't quite do the job, due to a script error. Did you do the reverse, or was it a bit more involved?

I actually just dumped all the skulltag .pk3 files into the skins folder in Zandronum, and it automatically loaded the required resources. Loading the Brutal Doom resources as normal adds that aspect of it into the mix.

Oh, so Zandronum is the thing you're using! It itself is apparently built straight off of the old Skulltag. Sweetness.

Think you and I could try and have a run through some online Brutal Doom some time? Be it some Deathmatch or co-op of some kind, anything'd be fine by me.

(This offer extends to anyone else reading in who wants some fun Doom times, long as you have Doom 1 or Doom 2.)

That actually sounds like a lot of fun.
I'll feed you what resources I have next time we catch each other on skype.
